Elizabethtown Area High School seniors Emma Lown and Nickolas Sieber were named the Elizabethtown Rotary Club’s students of month for January. Lown and Sieber were honored for their high academic achievement and extensive involvement in school, and community service activities. 

Lown is the daughter of Rick and Andrea Lown of Elizabethtown. She is a member of the prestigious National Honor Society. Lown is active in numerous school programs. She is active with the Key Club, student council, gifted program, and has served as manager of the field hockey team. She is president of the orchestra and a class officer.

Lown is active in the community where she participates with the local youth group at Hope Community Church. She also volunteers with the Global Aid Network.

Lown plans to attend Liberty University where she will major in Communications with a minor in Theology and International Studies.
January Students of the Month
Sieber is the son of Todd and Tammy Sieber of Elizabethtown. Sieber is a member of the prestigious National Honor Society. He is active in numerous school activities including the Newspaper Club, Key Club, theater program, competition science team, orchestra, and band. As a member of the science team, he has earned several awards including third place in the North Museum Science Fair and has earned category awards in several other local events.

In the community, Sieber volunteers at the Elizabethtown Public Library. He is also active with his youth group at West Green Tree Church of the Brethren.

Sieber plans to attend Elizabethtown College and pursue a degree in mechanical engineering.
