Pints for Polio 2018

On October 25th at Moo-Duck we will have Music by Justin Angelo
Sponsored by BERM

Our new goal is $5000 for the three day event.
2017-2018 District Governor Una Martone challenged the clubs in our Rotary District 7390 to hold a Pints for Polio event to raise funds to help eradicate polio.  Every dollar raised would get matched 2:1 thanks to the generous support of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

Since 1985,  Rotarians worldwide have been united in the efforts to eradicate this deadly disease and, even though it’s no longer present in the USA, it still exists in a very few countries around the world. It's Rotary's signature "cause", and we continue to raise funds to help finish the fight.

The Elizabethtown Rotary Club accepted DG Una's challenge head-on, not just for 1 event, but for three nights,  October 24-26, 2017 from 6-9pm at each of our fabulous local craft breweries... Moo Duck Brewery, Funk Brewing , and the Cox Brewing Company

Our fundraising goal was $1,000 this year!   We ended up raising $3,713 which, after the Gates match, totaled $11,139 towards the fight to end polio.

Entertainment was provided by  DJ Dennis Mitchell from Fun 101.3 at Funk Brewing and  Music by Justin Angelo at Moo Duck Brewery thanks to a sponsorship from BERM, Inc.
