Medical Mission to Uganda 2017

Rotary Foundation Global Mission Trips
 
March 15-27, 2017. Dr. Joseph Rebman joined Rotarians and volunteers from Central Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Brazil, Denmark and host country Uganda in Entebbe, Uganda for an eye, dental, and medical mission. This is a Rotary Foundation grant project. 
 
District 7390 Rotary clubs with members on this mission were Elizabethtown, Lancaster, Lancaster-Hempfield, Lancaster - Penn Square, Mechanicsburg North, Northern Lebanon County and York-East. 
 
This was the first VTT mission - Vocational Training Team - which reflects new changes in the Rotary Global Grants guidelines to help improve sustainability.  As part of the mission, we worked with teaching Ugandan eye technicians and optometry students.
