May 20, 2020- Elizabethtown Area High School seniors Ashley Driesbach and Aiden Weaver were named the Elizabethtown Rotary Club’s students of the month for May. Driesbach and Weaver were honored for their high academic achievement and extensive involvement in school and community service activities.

Driesbach is the daughter of Jason Driesbach and Hilarie Mohn of Elizabethtown. She is a member of the prestigious National Honor Society. Driesbach is active in a number of school programs including Key Club, Math and Computer Science Club, and the Competition Science team where she has competed at both the local science fair and Science Olympiad. She is Layout Editor for the Newspaper Club.

Driesbach has earned numerous awards in the area of science. She won the Bausch & Lomb Honorary Science Award, placed first in the chemistry category at the 2020 North Museum Science Fair, and placed third in the Brossman Science Knowledge Contest and Lecture.

In the community, Driesbach is active at e-Dance where she is both a dancer and teacher assistant.

Driesbach plans to attend the Schreyer Honors College at Penn State University and major in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology with a minor in chemistry. She has hopes of earning her doctorate degree in Biochemistry and pursue a career in research
May Students of the Month Picture
Weaver is the son of Christopher and Stephanie Weaver of Elizabethtown. He is a member of the prestigious National Honor Society. Weaver is a member of the Student Council, the high school orchestra, and the high school track and field team.

In the community, Weaver is active with club soccer where he was named to the All-East Region All Star team and the US National U17 Team. Weaver is a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Mounty Joy, PA.

Weaver plans to attend Stanford University where he will pursue a degree in management engineering. His ultimate goal is to play professional soccer in the United States.
